My Story: A Journey of Heart, Faith, and Home

The path to where we are today wasn’t paved with simple blueprints, but with a deep-seated calling to serve. My story began in 2021 shortly after Covid levels started lifting.. With the support of an initial investor that I met through church, we set out to build a mobile elderly care support unit—a mission designed to reach seniors in the comfort of their own environments.

However, as any journey of faith goes, the road included seasons of testing. I faced numerous challenges that forced the business to lean into our core values. These hurdles weren’t just obstacles; they were opportunities to truly understand the heart and intentions behind caregiving. I spent years listening to families, witnessing the complexities of their situations, and recognizing the profound need for a space that felt less like a facility and more like a sanctuary.

A New Chapter in 2024

In 2024, a door opened that perfectly aligned our passion with a physical home. We were given the opportunity to take over a residence in Welcome Glen that had previously been equipped for disabled and handicapped boys. We saw this not just as a property, but as a providential gift—a space already filled with a history of specialized care, now ready to be repurposed for our seniors.

How We Serve the South Peninsula

We are proud to be a local solution for local families, operating exclusively within the South Peninsula. Our services are designed to be as flexible as the lives of those we serve:

  • Intimate Boarding Home: Our Welcome Glen home hosts a maximum of seven residents, ensuring a quiet, safe, and highly supportive environment where no one is just a number.
  • Respite & Recovery: Whether it’s post-hospital recovery, step-down support, or providing a much-needed break for primary caregivers, we offer short-term stays that prioritize peace of mind.
  • Personalized In-Home Care: When capacity allows, our experienced team provides private in-home shifts. We work closely with you to match services to your specific budget and needs—balancing affordability with high-quality, professional care.
